A passion for interior design paired with her artistic talent led Alison V. Cummings down the path to becoming a decorative painter, where she has spent the last 20 years enhancing the interiors of her clients’ homes and businesses.

After earning a BS degree in Studio Art/Graphic Design and acquiring a taste for Old World art and architecture, Alison traveled to Europe to fuel her new passion for decorative painting. She was captured by the Italian frescoes, the art of Raphael, and trompe l’oeil inlaid woodwork (intarsia) at the Ducal Palace in the fortified city of Urbino, Italy.  She spent the summer there, immersed in the Renaissance culture of central Italy and attending art classes at the University of Urbino.

Inspired by her travels, she returned to CT to apply her extensive knowledge and creativity to her decorative painting business. While pursuing an AAS degree from the prestigious New York School of Interior Design, she seamlessly fused her decorative painting business with interior design services. With each project, Alison brings a unique blend of creativity, expertise, and passion, ensuring that every space she touches becomes a masterpiece in its own right.
